Ragdoll

It's funny how a silly flash-file like this can spread all over the internet. I put a link to my site on one forum, and now the ragdoll is everywhere! I even heard it was on TV! You can grab her with your mouse and adjust the speed with arrow keys left and right.(just remembered) The physics is based on this Jacobsen article.

Experiments

Weird MP3 Player

I have no idea where I got this idea from. You play songs by dropping one of the balls on the left inside the gramophone-like machine. A playlist could be implemented with a robot that picks up and drops the song-balls automatically or by a feeding tube that would drop one ball at time.

Volley Ball Game

So far I've only finished the physics of this game, but I think they turned out pretty well! I don't know what kind of characters there should be expect they must have big round heads and no / tiny hands. You can try the game with your friend using the same keyboard.
INSTRUCTIONS:Pass the ball by pressing your up key. Jump to bounce the ball with your head so it goes on the other side of the net. If you touch the ball more than 3 times it is a fault. If you let the ball fall on your side of the net it is a fault.

Circus Elephas Maximus

This is a school project and it's my first animation. It all started from a little piece of music I composed a long time ago that sounded like elephants to me. I don't remember why I chose to do an animation in the first place, but it kind of automatically started to grow as the animation gave me ideas for the music and that music would give me ideas for the animation and so on.

A Paper Roll

I think of this as somekind of alternative for scrollbar. You grab the page anywhere and drag. A slight 3d-effect makes an impression of paper roll rolling. One good thing about pixel graphics is that they are very small in file size. I needed a very high picture that would still load fast so I did a collage of pixel characters I had previously made. Then in Flash I just scaled the image 4x.

Flash MP3 Player

A basic flash MP3 player that uses XML playlist. I focused on making this easily skinnable. I did this a long time ago, so the code quality doesn't look so good to me today. I know I could do it way much better now.

Cable

An elastic cable simulation. You could use this in an application to connect two things together. I've seen similar in music software.

The Lost Astronaut

I did this spaceman with my flash 3d editor (coming "soon" online!) Then I quickly hacked some constraints to it to hold the balls together. I think the rotating space-backround really adds the last touch! Drag a little with your mouse to get the astronaut moving.

New Ragdoll - Muscle Test 1

I've recreated the ragdoll. This new version is faster, behaves better, and the code is much cleaner.
I'm also beginning to experiment with muscles. This is the first test. I hope I can do something intresting things in the future. I'm thinking about brain that used the muscles! Zombies!
You can control the muscles by moving the mouse horizontally and vertically, or you can grab the doll too.
If it starts spinning wildly, there's no way to stop it expect reloading the page. (I believe it's because the hands have too hard grip, and the system don't like it)
Here's the new ragdoll without muscles, if you want to try it
